What problems should be paid attention to in die casting of aluminum enclosure
Die-casting is a link in the processing of aluminum enclosure, and the quality of die-casting technology affects the quality of aluminum enclosure. In the process of processing the aluminum enclosure, sometimes the aluminum enclosure may crack due to some reasons. When cracking occurs, it will not only affect the quality of the aluminum casing, but also waste a lot of time, energy and money, resulting in economic losses. Therefore, some problems should be paid attention to in die casting of aluminum enclosure:
The problem of demolding. The strength of the formed parts is not enough, especially the slender core, when it is filled, it will be distorted and deformed, which hinders the smooth demoulding of the aluminum enclosure. And the mold retention time of the casting is too long, which will make the grain of the Aluminum Instrument Case die-casting coarse.
The problem of aluminum alloy die-casting wall thickness. Aluminum alloy die-casting wall thickness range is generally 12 ~ 0.7mm. Thickness gaps are too large for the padding. When the wall thickness of the casting exceeds the limit, its mechanical strength will decrease. Excessive thickness of the aluminum casting wall is prone to shrinkage and pores, and may cause problems such as long solidification time and large shrinkage in the die-casting production process, making core pulling and mold ejection difficult.
In terms of structure, try to avoid the appearance of structures that lead to complex mold structures, and have to use multiple core pulling or spiral core pulling.
The appearance of die castings. According to customer requirements, sometimes the appearance of die castings will have special requirements, such as oil injection, sandblasting, etc.
