The universal motor  box controller has a pair of input interfaces for connecting the high-voltage interface of the power battery pack; The other pair is the high-voltage output interface, which connects the motor and supplies control power.

In addition, there is a low-voltage mix box controller through which all communications, sensors, low-voltage power supplies, etc., are led out and connected to the vehicle controller and power battery management system.

The components with strong current connection with the motor controller are the motor and power battery pack; The control box is connected to the CAN bus of the vehicle, and can communicate with the vehicle controller, digital instrument panel, power battery management system, exchange data, and bear commands.

The controller has several main components:

1. Power module

The theme of the motor controller is an inverter, which controls the motor current and voltage. MOSFET, GTO, IGBT, etc. are the main power devices frequently selected.

2. Drive control module

The command of the central control module is converted into the on-off command of the thyristor in the inverter, which is used as a maintenance device to monitor and maintain overvoltage, overcurrent and other faults.

3. Central control module

Including, PWM wave generation circuit, reset circuit, sensor signal processing circuit, interactive circuit. The central control module obtains the instructions and status information of other components on the vehicle through external interfaces. Internally, the translated instructions are transmitted to the inverter drive circuit, and the control effect is detected.

4. Sensor

The sensors applied to the system include current sensor, voltage sensor, temperature sensor, motor shaft angle and azimuth sensor, which are increased or decreased according to the planning requirements.

Each controller needs a shell for protection, and aluminum alloy shell is a very good choice.
