IP standards are designed to provide waterproof protection for electronic devices in portable environments. This standard is often used by mobile phone manufacturers.

We have two blogs on different levels of dust and water resistance:

 IP-55 Dustproof:

An IP rating is a measure of a device's ability to prevent the entry of solid objects (dust, rain, snow, etc.). They are used for all equipment used in or around water, including electronics, and are most commonly IP67, which covers protection against water.

We provide information on all aspects of IP-55 classification, including why IP-55 is important, why products are IP-55 rated, how to check if your product is IP-55 rated, and what the different IP ratings are

We recently completed an IP55 enclosure for a client. Our enclosures are custom designed and feature an acrylic front. The front panel is also covered in brushed aluminum, giving it an elegant look. The IP69K rating makes this enclosure ideal for environments where dust or moisture may be present. It is the highest level of protection for any electronic product. us

An IP65 box or enclosure is a new type of box that can be used to house electrical switches, circuit breakers, fuses and other electrical equipment. It also has a higher water ingress rating, making it ideal for accommodating any type of switchgear that would risk entering the enclosure.

How can I prevent water from damaging the circuit?

Circuits are usually protected by enclosures, which can be damaged by external forces. Even if the enclosure is sealed, water and moisture can damage the internal circuitry. So how do we protect our circuits from damage? Using a water repellant is easy. It's just powder that sticks to the circuit board.

Can you use normal IP55 BOX in your design?

 1. An electronic enclosure is an assembly that includes an enclosure that houses one or more electrical components. The housing may be constructed of many different materials, and may include features such as hinges, latches, handles, locks, and various other mechanisms and devices for securing the housing. Electronic enclosures are typically used to house computer components and are typically constructed of plastic, aluminum, steel, brass, copper, or some combination of these materials.

2. In recent years, computer housings have become smaller and lighter due to the continuous reduction in size and weight of computer components. A major factor in size and weight reduction is the use of circuit boards with increasingly higher packing densities.

The IP55 rating is used to classify specific classes of dust and water (IP) protected enclosures. The term refers to the amount of dust that can penetrate the enclosure and cause damage. Dust levels inside are measured by a rating system.
